Go Placidly Amidst The Noise

Many people recognise the opening of Desiderata immediately, many of us pause a moment and assume, then realise we know them from somewhere. We think what a sonorous line it’s. It is nearly hippyish but it surely isn’t. It is, nicely it’s excellent, by some means.

An analogous phenomenon is true of our spiritual lives. Without common prayer, research and devotion our spirits will both wither and die or flip into a weed. As a weed, we might develop, but we’ll grow quick and livid. Because the Bible says, we’ll develop into puffed up with our information (or lack of it) and be obnoxious Christians. Just like those weeds in our yard which are much larger and tougher than the grass, we’ll assume we’re better than our effectively fed associates (particularly after they’re going by way of a dry spell). Unfortunately, the Bible says if we enable ourselves to be weeds, we’ll solely be good for stubble for the fireplace.

The dictionary online is what I use. It is quick and convenient. If the print media is providing factual information, or reporting current events, they’ll ultimately fall to the digitial format as generations pass.

I need to speak with a manager of unified accounts!
